The menu at Gay Nineties Pizza Co is a comforting celebration of Italian classics. Popular choices include the iconic Frank’s Special Pizza Lunch, a hearty combination of meat and veggies that strikes a perfect balance of savory and fresh. For those who crave a spicy kick, the BBQ Chicken Pizza Lunch offers tender chicken glazed in smoky barbecue sauce atop a luscious cheese layer. Traditionalists will relish the generous slices of Pepperoni Pizza and the delightful roll of Pepperoni and Mushroom Large Pizza, where robust flavors meld beautifully with a crisp, golden crust.

The appetizers themselves are a tempting start to any meal. The Fried Zucchini and Mozzarella Sticks bring a perfect crunch, while the Antipasto Platter offers a variety of olives, mushrooms, and cured meats that tease the palate with authentic Mediterranean notes. For a lighter touch, the Caesar Salad and Cobb Salad are crisp and refreshing, pairing beautifully with the richness of the main courses. The house even includes a side of Meatballs or Homemade Bread Pudding for those with a sweet tooth or desire for a traditional finish to the meal.

Meghan was fantastic and so fun as our server. She even brought me extra beets for my salad when she saw me perk up at the mention of them. The pizza came out hot and tasted wonderful. We ordered a Conner pizza. Mmmmm mmmmm good!

My friend took me here for a late lunch and boy was it a treat! The wine was fabulous but the pizza, salad and garlic bread were TO DIE FOR! You could taste the perfected homemade recipe in every bite. Yum! Being a Texas implant I will recommend this place over and over again. Conner greeted us and Garrett was our amazing server. Go see them!

First of all, the service here is always amazing. We had a server today, don't catch her name but she was super nice and made dining in even better. Best pizza I've ever had! Other pizza places I've been to never fill me up but with just 2 slices here I'm satisfied! You never have to worry about not getting enough cheese on your pizza and the taste is super good! They also have delicious ranch! I'll be going here for pizza often! Tried their boneless wings too and were also great!

I’ve always seen this place on my visits to Pleasanton and decided today was the day. It was solid—great value for the money. The pizza dough was thick and had the right blend of salt. Lunch comes with a decent house salad. I had the pesto pizza with sausage, bell pepper, and onion, and I would easily have it again when in the area. The service was sweet. Talk about friendly people who sincerely want to help you. Love the energy. Note picture of pizza was of a friend and this is a small.

We always love getting a pizza and a salad here We tried the garlic bread, wasn't really garlicky but still good. The Franks pizza has meat and veggies and always one that makes us both happy to eat

Our family got together at Gay Nineties on a Tuesday night. My dad grew up in the area and has always loved this place, and since we don’t get together often, the evening already felt special. Shortly after we arrived, the restaurant filled up quickly, but our waiter, Kevin, was absolutely phenomenal. Despite the rush, Kevin brought such positive energy to the table. He kindly explained the situation, checked in with us often, and made sure we were comfortable while the kitchen caught up. He went above and beyond for us, and we’re incredibly grateful for the exceptional service he provided. His kindness, attentiveness, and calm professionalism truly stood out. The staff overall was also wonderfully accommodating. My brother and his wife have a newborn, and they generously set us up on the patio with a heater so the baby could stay comfortable. The pizza was great, too. Five stars for Kevin, the staff, and the food!
